Job Description
The volunteer role provides direct patient/family care support, administrative assistance, or interdisciplinary team input within the hospice agency. Volunteers contribute to patient/family quality care, documentation, communication, and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. This is a volunteer position with no pay.
Requirements
- Provides office support for direct patient care (teaching material, mailing, filing)
- Accurately documents services provided
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality
- Attends annual trainings
- Submits annual renewable documents on time
