Job Description
Alabama Hospice of the Shoals, a part of LHC Group, is seeking a volunteer to support patient and family care through various activities. The volunteer will assist with care plans, documentation, communication, and community outreach. This role is vital to providing high-quality patient/family care and is highly valued within a nationwide post-acute care network.
Requirements
- Provides assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family.
- Accurately documents services provided.
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
- Attends in-services annually.
- Participates in community outreach projects.
