Job Description
LHC Group is seeking a volunteer to support hospice patients and families by providing care and administrative support. This volunteer position is unpaid, but offers opportunities for internal training and community outreach. The role involves assisting with patient care, documentation, communication, and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Provides assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family
- Accurately documents services provided
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality
- Attends at least four (4) in-services per year
- Participates in community outreach projects
