LHC Group is seeking a volunteer to assist with patient/family care activities at their hospice location in Columbus, Ohio. This volunteer position is accessible, not subject to pay, and focuses on providing assistance within defined activities and administrative tasks. Volunteers contribute to quality patient/family care and community outreach.

Requirements

• Provides assistance to the hospice program.
• Accurately documents services provided.
• Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
• Attends in-services annually.
• Participates in community outreach projects.
• Knowledge of the death and dying process (Bereavement Volunteer).
• Records accurate, legible, timely, and objective documentation (Patient Care Volunteer).
• Completes assignments in a timely manner (Administrative Volunteer).
