Job Description
Commonwealth Hospice, a part of LHC Group, is seeking a Hospice Volunteer to provide care and administrative support to patients and their families. This role contributes to the quality of care provided by hospice and can be tailored to various activities. The company focuses on delivering high-quality, cost-effective care and partnering with hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide.
Requirements
- Provide assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family.
- Accurately document services provided.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Attend in-services annually.
- Participate in community outreach projects.
- Bereavement Volunteer Knowledge of death and dying process
