This volunteer position provides essential support to the hospice program, ensuring the quality of care and assisting with patient/family activities. Volunteers contribute to care planning, record keeping, community outreach, and communication, while maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting their dignity.

Requirements

• Provide assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family.
• Accurately document services provided.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Participate in in-services.
• Attends Community Outreach projects.
• Assist with grief services.
