Hospice Volunteer Community Loving Care Hospice

The volunteer plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of care delivered to the patient and family through patient/family care activities or administrative activities that support the hospice agencys goal of quality patient/family care. This is a volunteer position and ineligible for pay. Volunteers assist the hospice program and/or patient/family in various tasks and provide input to interdisciplinary meetings.

Requirements

• Provides assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family.
• Accurately documents services provided.
• Attends in-services annually.
• Participates in community outreach.
• Bereavement support.
• Patient/Patient Care volunteer work.
