Hospice Volunteer Heart of Hospice

This volunteer position at LHC Group, part of a healthcare provider network, focuses on supporting patients and families through various activities and administrative tasks within the hospice program. Requirements

• Provides assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family.
• Accurately documents services.
• Attends at least four (4) in-services per year.
• Participates in community outreach projects.
• Bereavement Volunteer: knowledge of the death and dying process.
• Patient Care Volunteer: records accurate, legible, timely, and objective documentation.
• Administrative Volunteer: completes all assignments in a timely manner.
• Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
