Job Description
The Heart of Hospice volunteer position at the Upstate Hospice plays a vital role in enhancing patient and family care through various activities. Volunteers assist with daily operations, document patient encounters, and contribute to outreach programs. The role is volunteer and offers no pay.
Requirements
- Provides assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family in accordance with designated activities.
- Accurately documents services provided as trained and instructed by the hospice agency.
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
- Attends at least four in-services per year.
- Participates in community outreach projects.
