Hospice Volunteer HighPoint Hospice

This volunteer position with HighPoint Hospice is crucial for enhancing the quality of patient/family care. Volunteers assist with program and patient care activities, contribute to interdisciplinary meetings, and maintain patient confidentiality. Opportunities include bereavement, patient care, and administrative tasks, and some may offer educational support.

Requirements

• Provide assistance to hospice program and/or patient/family.
• Accurately document services provided.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Participate in in-services.
• Attends at least four (4) in-services per year.
• Communicate with supervisors and administrators.
• Participate in community outreach.
• Assist with arrangements after death.
