We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance inspections, repairs and rebuilds on all plant operating equipment.
Requirements
- Comply with company, state and governmental health and safety regulations as well as SQF initiatives
- Complete and document Workplace Inspections in a timely manner
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and report findings
- Participate in the work order initiation process
- Ensure all inventory parts are correctly charged from Stores
- Be well versed in the installation and maintenance of all types of bearings
- Possess a basic knowledge of oil and grease seals and their applications
- Possess a basic knowledge of lubricants and their uses
- Perform chain and sprocket installation and alignments
- Perform belt and sheave installation and alignment
- Perform post-job inspection to ensure a high level of housekeeping standards
- Perform minor maintenance on loaders, haul trucks, drills, forklifts, maintenance, and plant vehicles
- Install and align all types of new equipment
- Disassemble and rebuild most types of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment
- Operate forklift, man lift, or maintenance machinery to perform plant and quarry maintenance
- Have a high level of rigging skills
- Have experience and expertise in the installation of pneumatic and hydraulic piping systems
- Troubleshoot, service and repair plant environmental equipment
- Troubleshoot, service and repair hydraulic/pneumatics systems
- Troubleshoot, service and repair air compressors
- Keep maintenance tools in good condition
- Possess and maintain a complete set of personal hand tools
- Operate plant mobile equipment
- Be proficient in the use of precision measuring tools
- Be qualified to weld in all four positions
- Be proficient in all kinds of acetylene cutting and welding
- Perform thickness testing
- Understand thermography and its use at the site
- Have a complete understanding of non-destructive testing
- Possess basic knowledge of the CMMS System
- Perform maintenance on various plant and quarry equipment
