Electrical Engineer II

Libbey is hiring a dynamic Electrical Engineer II who will be primarily responsible for the electrical design of machine controls and systems. This individual must be a team player with the ability to effectively manage and supervise multiple projects, have strong problem-solving skills, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Requirements

• BSEE or BSET degree required
• Experience: minimum 3 years of design and field experience
• Strong CAD skills: AutoCAD experience preferred
• Strong electrical aptitude, hands on experience preferred
• Knowledge of Rockwell PAC’s, PLC’s, Drives, and Motion preferred
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC’s, Drives, and Motion desirable
• Knowledge of automation components
• Familiarity of basic Networking concepts desirable
• Knowledge of PID loops desirable
• Knowledge of NEC, UL, and NFPA
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment using MS Office suite of tools
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment exposed to heat, noise, and heights while utilizing required PPE
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
