Job Description
Maintain good glass quality & color, while maximizing furnace fuel efficiency as a Furnace Tender at Libbey, contributing to the making of the finest glass and tabletop products in the world.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass Mechanical Aptitude Test
- Forklift operator license
- Ability to lift 55 lbs
- Work a 12-hour swing shift
- Prior furnace experience preferred
- Work at heights
- Work in a manufacturing environment exposed to extreme heat, noise, oil, etc.
- Pass pre-employment testing
