Responsable principal(e) des sinistres maritimes (première partie)

We are seeking a Maritime Claims Specialist to handle complex maritime claims, with a focus on cargo and hull and machinery, and property, construction and energy claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations, establishing provisions, supervising, documenting and resolving/closing claims in an expeditious and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or post-secondary degree, or relevant work experience equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of experience in claims management, with an emphasis on cargo and/or hull and machinery.
• In-depth knowledge of concepts, practices and techniques of claims management, including questions of coverage and product knowledge.
• Functional knowledge of law and insurance regulations in various jurisdictions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High-level analytical, decision-making and negotiation skills.
