Manager, Electrical Engineering

Join Life Fitness as an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team and shape the technology behind connected fitness products. This role oversees development of consoles for our products and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers. The manager will lead a team of six engineers and be responsible for product development from development through design validation to production, ensuring performance, quality, cost, and schedule goals are met.

Requirements

• Define and specify electrical systems and controls for console applications
• Develop and ensure execution of various tasks related to engineering projects including schematic capture, PCB layout, floor plan, component placement and design for manufacture & EMC
• Own full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments
• Partner with individuals and other departments within the organization, outside suppliers, consultants, and other sources to ensure successful implementation of company objectives
• Directly supervise engineers, set direction and determine resource allocation
• Provide technical guidance as needed to project teams
• Mentor and develop junior level engineers
• Conduct performance reviews
