Job Description
This Financial Aid Counselor role at Life Pacific University assists undergraduate students with financial aid eligibility and disbursement. The position involves reviewing financial aid packages, performing needs assessments, counseling students, and overseeing aid processing. The role is part of the Financial Aid Department and reports to the Director.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 2-3 years of financial aid experience or general business experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Empower
- Typing and 10-key skills
- Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
- Good people skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accuracy during periods of high stress
