Sr. Staff AI Security Engineer, AI Native Platform

Life360 is seeking a Sr. Staff AI Security Engineer to secure its AI infrastructure. The successful candidate will design, build, and iterate access controls, policy enforcement, and authorization patterns for frontier AI models and external integrations. The role requires hands-on experience with LLM and agentic systems, solid grounding in IAM for non-human systems, and experience with production telemetry and detection.

Requirements

• 12+ years in security engineering
• Depth in application security, cloud security, IAM, or detection
• Hands-on builder shipping security controls that hold up in production
• Hands-on fluency with LLM and agentic systems
• Solid grounding in IAM for non-human systems
• Experience with production telemetry and detection
• Comfort with ambiguity and in-flight builds
• Strong cross-functional communication
• Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM Top 10, and adjacent compliance environments
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
