Job Description
LifeLabs is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist - Hematology to provide accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting, contributing to patient well-being and better health outcomes. The role offers opportunities to teach in a collaborative environment and participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- CMLTO registration and in good standing
- College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills, including the ability to identify and follow-up on issues
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain the strictest standards of safety, patient privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to distinguish multiple colors
- Strong computer skills in MS Office products, as well as laboratory analyzers
