The Director, Business Development will drive revenue growth through business opportunity identification, cultivation, and closure with new and existing pharmaceutical and biotech accounts. The role requires a strong communicator, with experience in medical or commercial communications, sales, and people management.
Requirements
- Conduct research and foster networking opportunities to discover new opportunities and penetrate new accounts.
- Establish meaningful, professional relationships with various client stakeholders, influencers, and contacts.
- Leverage internal resources, client relationships, industry knowledge, and investigative resourcefulness to acquire a thorough understanding of client's business environment, objectives, and challenges.
- Develop creative initiatives, prepare and deliver client presentations and proposals in a manner that effectively showcases IQVIA Health Communications capabilities and depth of IQVIA resources.
- Actively manage sales targets and related activities to achieve personal and company sales objectives.
- Collaborate with internal project team members to ensure client expectations are being met.
- Contribute to enhanced customer service through timeliness and quality of communications and deliverables.
