Senior Contract Manager

Definium Therapeutics is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company seeking a motivated Senior Contract Manager to join their team. The role involves managing contracts and legal documents, identifying and analyzing potential risks, and driving timelines. The ideal candidate has direct pharmaceutical or biotech experience, a business-first approach, and strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor preferred
• Minimum of 7+ years' experience in contracts negotiations
• In-house experience at publicly traded biotechnology or pharmaceutical company
• Motivated and extremely detail-oriented, especially when managing sensitive legal information
• Ability to support and work closely with a high functioning team, but also successfully work independently without direction in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work and coordinate effectively with broad cross-functional clients and teams
• General understanding of applicable laws and regulations
• Working knowledge of common vendor types and common customer types
• Flexible in adapting to changing priorities and able to handle several tasks at one time while exercising strong judgement and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to follow-through and meet deadlines
• Proficient with computer applications and software
• Knowledge of operations of a legal department and legal terminology
• Willingness to learn and assume new responsibilities over time
