Principal Lighting Artist

We are looking for a Principal Lighting Artist to join our new AAA studio in Leamington Spa. As a Principal Lighting Artist, you will be responsible for achieving the artistic direction and standards for lighting, working closely with other art disciplines to accomplish the highest level of visual quality and immersion.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior/Principal Lighting Artist in the games industry
• Expertise in lighting principles, colour theory, and composition
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and inspire a team of lighting artists
• Deep knowledge of lighting tools and software, such as Unreal Engine, Maya, or equivalent
• Strong technical proficiency, with a solid understanding of advanced lighting techniques and optimization
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
• Passion for pushing the boundaries of visual quality and creating immersive experiences
