Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Safety Ambassador are to provide support to the Shelter Operations department of Lighthouse Mission Ministries. The Safety Ambassador will serve as the primary point of contact for emergency responses and safety threats, ensuring the well-being of residents, staff, and volunteers.
Requirements
- Experience in social services, working with individuals experiencing homelessness, and/or in the rescue mission environment preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience operating in a security role within a residential setting. An unarmed Security Guard License is preferred.
- Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution skills with the purpose of de-escalation.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience.
