Senior Engineering Technician

As a Senior Engineering Technician at Lightship, you will work closely with the Test Engineering team to build, coordinate, and execute critical testing programs that validate the performance, safety, and reliability of the Lightship product line.

Requirements

• 6+ yrs experience working as a technician in the automotive/EV, cleantech, or aerospace industries
• Experience instrumenting test articles with sensors such as accelerometers, thermocouples, and electrical sensors, and working off of a documented test plan
• Experience with data acquisition systems and measurement devices
• Experience with welding, shop, and fabrication equipment
• Demonstrated experience working in and maintaining a lab development environment
• Experience towing trailers or RVs
• Experience creating custom wire harnesses and test fixtures with little oversight
