Senior Engineering Technician

Lightship is a US-based all-electric recreational vehicle manufacturer seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience working as a technician in the automotive/EV, cleantech, or aerospace industries, with experience in data acquisition systems, measurement devices, welding, and fabrication equipment.

Requirements

• 6+ yrs experience working as a technician in the automotive/EV, cleantech, or aerospace industries
• Experience instrumenting test articles with sensors such as accelerometers, thermocouples, and electrical sensors, and working off of a documented test plan
• Experience with data acquisition systems and measurement devices
• Experience with welding, shop, and fabrication equipment
• Demonstrated experience working in and maintaining a lab development environment
• Experience towing trailers or RVs
• Experience creating custom wire harnesses and test fixtures with little oversight
