Coordinator - Materials

The Coordinator – Materials is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials within the company and meeting the master production schedule. Responsibilities include coordination and release of supplier schedules, managing production requirements, inventory stock levels, and shipping schedules, as well as utilizing customer software systems and coordinating transportation and supplier releases.

Requirements

• Post secondary education in materials management, or combination of education and experience
• Minimum two years experiencing in manufacturing planning
• Good communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers
• Ability to schedule and adjust plans as needed for unexpected changes
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory management system
