Coordinator - Materials

The Coordinator – Materials is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials within the company and meeting the master production schedule.

Requirements

• Coordination and release of supplier schedules to meet daily production schedule
• Manage weekly and long-term production requirements for all lines
• Manage inventory stock levels by applying advanced inventory control techniques
• Maintain weekly and daily shipping schedule for all customers and suppliers
• Coordination of transportation and supplier releases to assure the timely delivery of materials and to minimize freight costs
• Monitor customer and vendor delivery performance metrics
• Maintain computerized inventory control system in conjunction with manual systems
• Monitor and manage customer consignment stock
