The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading advanced manufacturing initiatives, optimizing complex CNC programs, and driving innovation in machining processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Develop and optimize CNC machine programs for complex and high-precision components.
- Take new products from concept through full-scale production, ensuring manufacturability and process capability.
- Design and validate CAD models for tooling, gauges, fixtures, and specialized equipment.
- Provide advanced technical support for production operations, troubleshooting complex issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Create functional specifications for assembly operations and approve integrator designs for compliance and performance.
- Lead high-impact continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Research, analyze, and report on requirements for new production processes, including cost, labor, tooling, and equipment considerations.
- Oversee buy-off of equipment and ensure successful implementation of advanced manufacturing systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and customers to resolve technical challenges, improve tooling performance, and drive innovation.
- Create and maintain detailed schedules to track process development, project progression, and milestone completion.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Drive adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and methodologies to maintain competitive advantage.
