Engineering Supervisor

The Engineering Supervisor will oversee a Design Engineering Team on projects, providing direction, guiding the team, ensuring adherence to project goals, and leading design reviews. They will manage engineering hours, prepare technical documentation, and participate in design validation. The role involves leading design failures, quality control, and ensuring projects meet requirements and standards.

Requirements

• Experience working in a Design Engineering role within a fast-paced Manufacturing environment.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario (or eligible to be registered immediately).
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience as an Engineering Supervisor, Team Leader, or Lead Design Engineer.
• Experience in Heavy Equipment, Truck, Machinery, or similar industry.
• Knowledge of product design, GD&T, DFMEA, welding / fabrication processes, CANbus / machine controllers, hydraulics, and electrical skills.
• Familiar with engineering software tools (SOLID WORKS, AUTOCAD, MS Office, MS Project, FEA, DOE)
• Demonstrated ability to manage a project.
