Job Description
Actuary for Annuity Inforce Model Governance team, responsible for comprehensive reviews of models, maintenance and enhancement of validation framework, and participation in the transition to a Python-based validation platform. Working with cross-functional team to identify and understand required changes to GGY-AXIS Fixed Indexed Annuity, Fixed Annuity and Payout models. Develop and execute independent model validation tools to assess accuracy and reliability of the AXIS annuity models.
Requirements
- 7+ years of actuarial experience with actuarial credentials (ASA or FSA)
- Experience in actuarial modeling and/or valuation experience in GGY-AXIS
- Experience in reviewing and assessing the appropriateness of complex models
- Advanced proficiency in VBA, Python, or other programming languages (expert level preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of annuity product and general insurance business knowledge
