Job Description
Head Start Birth-5 is seeking a part-time Classroom Aide to provide support throughout the center, including the classroom, playground, as a Cook, or custodial duties. The role involves assisting with support and coverage in various capacities, working hours varying from classroom to classroom or center to center. Applicants must meet specific performance standards and child care regulations.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children preferred
- Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) within one year of hire
- LHDC and Indiana Childcare Licensing Regulations compliance
- Head Start and Indiana Day Care Licensing Regulations adherence
- Meeting legal requirements (criminal history, sex offender registry, drug screen, T.B. test)
- Completion of T.B. test
- Eligibility for reimbursement for professional development
