Head Start Intern

Head Start Birth-5 has an opening for a part-time Intern position working up to 16 hours per week. The intern will assist lead teachers, create a safe and engaging learning environment, and support the overall needs of the classroom.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a High School, Technical Education (CTE) program, College Program, or enrolled in an Undergraduate/Graduate Degree Program in Early Childhood or comparable field of study is required.
• Knowledge or experience in the desired field of study is preferred.
• Must meet Head Start and Indiana Childcare Licensing Regulations, including Head Start Standards of Conduct, federal and state criminal history requirements, sex offender registry checks, drug screen, physical and complete an annual T.B. test.
