Job Description
The Site Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned Head Start Birth-5 Center, exercising independent judgment and decision-making authority. Responsibilities include staff supervision, operating the program in conformance with ACF Head Start Program Performance Standards, State Child Care Licensing, and LHDC Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Management, Human Resources or correlated discipline
- Associate Degree in a related field will be considered if willing to further education
- Supervisory experience required
- Proficient in computer systems and functions, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Internet, and email usage
- Meet Head Start and Indiana Childcare Licensing Regulations
