Welcome to Career Opportunities at Lindenwood University. The certified public safety and security officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors by patrolling the campus, reporting crime and enforcing policies of the university.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable background check (must be completed within 30 days of hire)
- Law enforcement or prior military experience
- Firearm proficiency as well as ability to meet St. Charles County licensing qualifications to carry a department issued firearm while on-duty
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Must complete a psychological evaluation and drug screen upon a conditional offer of employment
