The Officer, Public Safety and Security is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors by patrolling the campus, reporting crime and enforcing university policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable criminal background check
- Security license must be obtained within 60 days of employment
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications must be obtained in a timely manner
- State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) Incident Command System (ICS) 100 Higher Education (HE) and 700 courses must be passed with certifications obtained
