Job Description
This position is responsible for providing professional compassionate diabetes and foot care services from two clinics. Under the guidance of the Clinic Supervisor, the Diabetes Educator/Foot Care RN provides education on diabetes management, assists patients with their care plans, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal comprehensive care for patients with diabetes.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Nursing
- A current registered nurse licensure in the State of Michigan
- Work experience of two (2) or more years as a diabetic care, wound management, or foot care nursing
- Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE)
- Diabetic Foot Care certificate
- A valid Driver’s License with the ability to be insured under the company’s insurance policy
