Job Description
LMT Defense is seeking CNC Operators/Machinists for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift to operate CNC Mill and Lathe tools. The role involves producing machined parts, maintaining equipment, and adhering to quality standards. Requirements
- Availability to work (7am-3:15pm) 1st shift, (3pm-11:15pm) 2nd shift, and (11pm-3:15pm) 3rd shift
- Training on 1st shift for up to 90 days if off-shift
- Computer literacy for CNC machine operating
- Experience with machining techniques & Mazak, Mori Seiki, Brother, Okuma, Tsugami, G-codes, M-codes, lathes, and mills
- High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent
- 5+ years of machining experience with formal training
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Familiarity with machine calibrations and console settings
- Ability to accurately use measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work from programming instructions and blueprints
