Security Officer

A beloved hotel with an enviable oceanfront location is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of guests and team members. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel security or a related field
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
• Ability to operate departmental vehicles
• Basic first-aid certification or ability to administer first aid
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of security systems, safety regulations, and emergency response protocols
• Experience using CCTV systems and other security technology
• Experience in customer service or hospitality
• Background in law enforcement or military service
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in report writing and documentation
