Job Description
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) is responsible for rendering a range of services for clients, supporting their physical, cognitive, mental health, and social/recreational needs. The PSW will maintain established routines, respond to emergencies, and perform various operational and support duties.
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Human Services, Gerontology, or Personal Support Worker
- First Aid and CPR training
- Experience with clients with unique special needs
- Knowledge of medication, general health, and psychiatric conditions
- Ability to organize activities and work with individuals and groups
- Good oral and written English skills
- Computer skills
- Valid Ontario Driver's License (preferred)
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector check
