Job Description
The EmPATH unit, opening in 2026, is a behavioral health unit designed for adults and children's hospital patients. Registered Nurses will provide care within the LVN scope of practice, collaborating with the RN to provide whole-person patient-centered care. The role involves direct and indirect age-specific care, data gathering, and report to RN. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of Vocational Nursing
- Minimum of one year experience as an LVN
- Behavioral health experience preferred
- Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license required
- Basic life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required
- California Blood Withdrawal certification required
