Patient Navigator-LVN Cancer

The Patient Navigator-Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for providing developmentally appropriate and age-specific patient care in a fast-paced outpatient cancer clinic and infusion center. The role requires knowledge of oncology/hematology treatment, a strong focus on kindness and patient communication, and the ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team. Patient navigation tasks, including insurance authorization, preparation for care, and follow-up on case management, are integral to the position.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of vocational nursing required.
• Minimum six months experience as an LVN or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a physician back-office setting.
• Minimum one year clinical experience in oncology or hematology nursing or infusion center preferred.
• Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license required.
