Patient Navigator-LVN Cancer

The Patient Navigator-Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)-Cancer Clinic works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Doctor (MD) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide developmentally appropriate and age-specific direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced outpatient cancer clinic and infusion center serving patients eighteen years of age or older with suspected or confirmed malignancies or hematologic disorder(s).

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of vocational nursing required.
• Minimum six months experience as an LVN or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a physician back-office setting required.
• Minimum one year clinical experience in oncology or hematology nursing or infusion center preferred.
