Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant PRN

Longhorn Village is a Texas born and bred not-for-profit retirement community seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide exceptional customer service and care to its residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong positive attitude, a genuine interest in geriatric care, and the ability to motivate and maintain relationships with staff and residents.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program
• Successful completion of certification/state licensure process for Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Ability to read regulations and write clearly
• Ability to communicate in courteous, friendly manner
• Ability to effectively manage and direct subordinates
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, governmental agencies/personnel and the general public
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc, that are necessary for providing quality resident care
