Job Description
Join Lonza in Slough and be part of a lab-based, innovative role driving bioprocess sciences. As a Senior Scientist, you will deliver technical solutions to accelerate the development of purification processes for complex biotherapeutic treatments.
Requirements
- BSc or BEng in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering (MSc/PhD preferred)
- Business fluent in English
- Advanced laboratory experience in DSP unit operations, including chromatography method development, scale-up, and process optimization
- Proven ability to troubleshoot purification equipment and apply analytical data for process decisions
- Strong scientific knowledge with the ability to analyze complex datasets and translate concepts into practical applications
- Experience in authoring SOPs, technical reports, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated collaboration, agility, customer focus, and results-driven behavior
