Job Description
LA CENTA is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Medical Assistant to support physicians and PA in clinic operations. This role involves patient intake, basic procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment. The clinic is founded on the principle of availability and aims to improve community healthcare in Los Angeles.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Graduated from accredited medical assistant program
- Bilingual-fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
- General knowledge of HIPAA and CPT codes
- Ear Nose Throat & Allergy specialty clinic experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a relatively unsupervised environment
- Ability to travel within the LA area for training
- Physical ability to perform tasks as described.
