Job Description
The LSU Agricultural Center is seeking an extraordinary candidate for the Director of Accounting Services position. The Director will provide leadership and supervision for the general operations of the Accounting Services Office and report to the Associate Vice President for Finance. The position requires a Baccalaureate degree in a related field and five years of professional level accounting or related experience. Experience in the public sector and/or a university setting is desirable.
Requirements
- Supervises accounting staff and associated daily office operations
- Ensures timely processing of transactions
- Ensures compliance with applicable internal and external regulations
- Trains staff members
- Provides technical assistance and support to AgCenter administrators, managers, faculty and staff
