Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team at Louisiana State University of Alexandria. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Requirements

• Review daily payment reports for accuracy and completeness
• Verify and prepare daily deposits
• Audit student refunds and process payments
• Maintain petty cash for the University
• Process all invoices in Workday
• Answer Accounting Service's emails
• Support the Assistant Director of Bursar Operations
• Assist at the cashiering window
