Sr. Fire Protection Engineer

Lucid is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to support its Global Services Team within Environmental, Health, and Safety. The role will involve applying engineering judgment to complex problems, researching and applying fire protection codes, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive EHS initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year of fire protection experience in building design and construction
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing EHS processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of lithium-ion battery storage, handling risks, and best practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand or walk for 10+ hours per day and climb stairs
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
