Youth Care Specialist (242)

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a Youth Care Specialist who will ensure quality care and safety for residents, with a focus on overnight shifts and weekends. This direct service delivery position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Detects and envisions potential safety and security hazards to youth in residence, subsequently making recommendations and implementing corrective actions as appropriate or required.
• Participates in the implementation and monitoring of client case plans.
• Assists with day-to-day maintenance of the facility in conjunction with the Program Manager.
• Supervises youth as needed, including preparation of meals and completion of chores.
• Performs related work as required and as directed by the Program Manager.
• Detects and envisions safety and security hazards.
• Maintains reports in coordination with the Program Manager.
