Youth Care Specialist

Lutheran Services Florida is seeking a Youth Care Specialist to supervise youth ages 10-17, provide quality care, and ensure a safe and secure environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience working with youth is preferred.

Requirements

• Detects and envisions potential safety and security hazards to youth in residence
• Participates in the implementation and monitoring of client case plans
• Assists with day-to-day maintenance of the facility
• Screens clients, conducts initial intakes, and administers client satisfaction surveys
• Coordinates and assists with youth intakes and orientation
• Maintains reports in coordination with the Program Manager
• Supervises youth as needed, including preparation of meals and completion of chores
