Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is hiring a full-time Office Manager to provide specialized and complex office management for a department, program, or multiple sites, with minimum supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) years of college or equivalent preferred
- Background check clearance required
- Three (3) to five (5) years of office management experience or related work required
- Knowledge of office organization and management required
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility, as well as the ability to effectively manage changing priorities
- Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present in both the service population and staff
- Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency, may be required
- Access to reliable transportation may be required
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage may be required
